Utah, USA — October 19, 2025 . For freeride mountain bikers, this is the ultimate stage. Red Bull Rampage once again brought together 18 of the world’s best mountain bike riders under the unforgiving Utah sun — where creativity meets consequence, and every drop flirts with disaster.

Each year, Rampage redefines the edge of possibility. Riders carve their own lines across the sandstone cliffs, linking huge drops, sculpted jumps, and freestyle tricks that defy gravity and fear alike. Some features stretch over 100 feet — the height of a ten-story building — leaving zero room for error.
Luke Whitlock & Polygon Collosus DH: A True Freeride Comeback Story

Among this year’s contenders, the Polygon Collosus DH downhill MTB once again stood tall — a bike with proven Rampage pedigree, having earned back-to-back victories in 2015 and 2017. Returning for his second year, Luke Whitlock took on one of the gnarliest builds of the event aboard the Collosus DH.
Whitlock’s first run ended in a crash after losing control on a major drop. But true to Rampage spirit, he climbed back up for his second descent. “The first run didn’t go my way, it was a rough day on the mountain, but I’m thankful to walk away safe,” he shared. “My hands weren’t feeling great, so I played it safe and rode down for the fans. That’s competition. I’ll be back stronger.”
His resilience captured the essence of Rampage; it’s not about perfection, but the will to rise again. Every fall, every comeback, every second on that cliffside reminds us why freeride is more than a discipline — it’s a mindset.
Innovation Meets Adrenaline: The Evolution of the Collosus DH

Whitlock’s 2024 debut also marked the prototype testing of the Collosus DH , a downhill mountain bike developed through years of rider feedback and global testing. The production model officially launched in March 2025 after extensive refinement. “Our goal was simple,” said Zendy Meidyawan Renan , Polygon’s Chief Engineer. “We wanted a bike capable of going head-to-head with the world’s best — and Rampage was the ultimate test ground.”
At Rampage, the lesson is always the same: courage isn’t about avoiding the fall — it’s about what you do after it. For Polygon , that belief drives every bike they build and every mountain they take on.
Lead your own path — the ride continues.
