“So cool to be back racing in Leogang, after 8 years away from when I raced Downhill here. Loved the tracks in practice and finally felt like I was riding back to my usual self.” – Matt Stuttard

The fourth round of the Enduro World Cup has been the team’s best outing ever with plenty of top 10 results and some career best performances by the riders. Held in dry and sunny conditions in the Austrian Alps, and over a long 10-hour day for the riders, the six-stage race provided some extremely close racing with just a few seconds separating the final men’s results from 5th place back to 9th.

For Jack Menzies, a 6th place overall on his Collosus N9 proved to be his career best result, scoring four top 10 stage results on the way to the finish line. “Pretty happy to end my day with my best ever finish! I did struggle a bit with making mistakes on track early on but pulled back some time and ended the day on a high. Stoked to keep this pace going into Italy next weekend!” said he.

Brady Stone earned his very own 5th place stage result on the final stage – his best ever in Elite, meant he jumped a couple of spots to finish a career best 22nd overall. For Matt Stuttard, the day started terribly with a snapped chain out of the start gate, which meant he had to source a chain before the start of stage 2, and recoup as much time as possible. He did so, jumping back up into the top 30 before the final stage, and then finishing 4th, a career best, and ending up 28th overall.

“Stage 1, right out of the start gate I snapped my chain, and it got locked up in my chainring causing some damage for the next few stages before getting it fixed in the tech zone! Rode well all day and a 4th place on the final stage was a great way to end the race!” – Matt Stuttard

“I was really happy with how I rode. There was a good mix of different style trails in Leogang which made it an interesting race as every stage had quite a different feel to it. I felt like my race mindset and intensity was higher this week after focusing on this aspect a lot in Pietra Ligure, so it’s nice to see a resulting improvement. Also stoked to finish with a 5th on the last stage and looking forward to having another go at it next weekend in Val Di Fassa!” – Brady Stone

“First time here in Leogang and it didn’t disappoint. We had six varied stages. I struggled to know how hard to push on these loose tracks but found some speed for the second part of the day. Some things to work on but I’m healthy and looking forward to the next EDR to wrap up this European block.” – Dan Wolfe

All team members now head directly to Italy for Race 5 in Val di Fassa, before heading home for a well-earned break ahead of the final races of the year in France.
