Donivan Berube isn’t just a cyclist—he’s a storyteller on two wheels. An International Adventure Cyclist, writer, and musician, he’s spent years chasing the open road, collecting miles and memories across the globe. From solo rides through the rugged landscapes of Alaska to the high-altitude roads of the Andes, Donivan's life is a never-ending bikepacking expedition.
His journey isn’t just about covering ground—it’s about the stories that unfold with every turn of the crank. He’s been an English teacher in Peru, a librarian in Big Sur, and a luthier in Arizona. But through it all, his constant has been the bike—a vehicle for exploration, self-discovery, and the unexpected. His latest challenge? A ride from Alaska to Argentina, pushing the limits of endurance and adventure.
Along the way, Donivan’s been recognized for his storytelling as much as his riding. He’s a recipient of the Viola Award for Excellence in Music and has been featured in NPR’s Morning Edition, Men’s Fitness, Adventure Cycling, and more.
