History
Our journey began with our manufacturer, PT Insera Sena, in Sidoarjo, Indonesia, where we started as a small Indonesian business. With experience in building more than 10 million bicycles and experimenting with cutting-edge technologies, we have grown into one of the few global bike brands that owns its manufacturing facilities. Since 1989, we have been able to engineer processes and maintain quality across all aspects of the manufacturing process—from hand-welded frames and painting lines to our assembly facilities.
Our commitment to innovation is reflected in our achievements. The Polygon MTB Collosus N9, which underwent a two-year development process, secured 2nd place in the Industry Trophy of the Trophy of Nations at the Enduro World Series in 2022. The Polygon E-bike Gili Velo received the prestigious Good Design Award at the world’s oldest and largest design event in 2023. Additionally, the Polygon Road Bike Helios has claimed numerous international victories with Asia’s number one racing team.
However, we are more than just a bicycle brand and manufacturer. We believe that cycling can transform lives—helping some to live a life they can be truly proud of, others to find their passion in technology, and some to discover their love for craftsmanship. So, we cast off rulebooks, venture off the beaten path, and define our own. From a 6-hectare “kitchen” and a group of riders, we combine craftsmanship, knowledge, and technology to build nearly a million bikes per year, which are owned by millions of people worldwide.
We are proud to be part of the cycling community and are committed to continuing to innovate and inspire.
