Polygon Factory Racing has officially entered the world stage of enduro racing, making its debut at this year’s Enduro World Series (EWS) — the ultimate test that blends high-speed mountain bike competition with the raw spirit of adventure.
For Polygon, this season marks more than just participation; it’s the beginning of a bold new chapter that showcases the power and performance of their mountain bikes on some of the world’s toughest trails.
EWS #1 – Tweed Valley: A Wild Start in Scotland’s Mountain Biking Heart

The season opener took place in Tweed Valley, Scotland — home to some of the UK’s most famous downhill trails. After a week of unpredictable rain, the skies cleared just in time for race weekend, blessing riders with near-perfect trail conditions on June 4–5, 2022.
The Pro Stage on Saturday set the tone — a high-speed stage designed to thrill both riders and spectators, rewarding not only precision but also fearlessness. Brady Stone came out firing, pushing full gas from start to finish and securing an impressive 25th position.
“The trails were running dry and fast, which made for a smooth run into 25th. I’m really happy to start the season off with this result.” – Brady Stone
Sunday’s race continued across five brutal stages, including the renowned Queen Stage on the legendary Big Baw trail. Matt Stuttard demonstrated technical brilliance, finishing 14th on the most demanding stage of the event.
“It’s so good to be back racing! I last raced 11 months ago since I snapped my collar bone. Loved every minute of it – buzzing to be back.” – Matt Stuttard
Meanwhile, Team Captain Dan Wolfe brought the energy beyond the course — hosting a live three-day PinkBike Instagram takeover that reached over 1.5 million followers. His iconic narration and behind-the-scenes clips gave fans a true taste of the action from both Matt and Brady.
“Tweed Valley was the most hotly contested event to start with. A great success for the first outing of Polygon Factory Racing – I am very proud of the lads!” – Dan Wolfe
EWS #2 – Petzen-Jamnica: Crossing Borders and Breaking Limits

The second round of the Enduro World Series was nothing short of epic — a cross-border race spanning Austria and Slovenia. On June 18–19, 2022, riders tackled a five-stage, 40km course with over 3,100 vertical meters of descent — one of the most grueling tests of endurance and technical skill in the entire MTB season.
Despite battling the aftermath of shoulder surgery, Dan Wolfe was right there with his team, supporting from the sidelines and continuing his engaging PinkBike coverage.
The Pro Stage in Austria set a historic benchmark: a 6km trail with over 1,000 meters of descending — rocky, rough, steep, and punishing. The stage demanded everything from the riders’ mountain bicycles — strength, stamina, and unshakable focus.
Brady Stone fought through mechanical issues in Stage 3 but made a strong comeback, earning Polygon’s first top 10 stage finish and 27th overall.
“What a race! Loved the long tracks but they were brutal to race.” – Brady Stone
Matt Stuttard powered through the heat, taking 14th place in the final stage and finishing just three seconds behind Brady, securing 28th overall.
“Petzen was a brutally tough event – from the heat to the tracks, there was no let up. We look forward to the next round in Italy.” – Dan Wolfe
EWS #3 – Val di Fassa: A Battle Among the Dolomites

The third round took Polygon Factory Racing to Val di Fassa Trentino, nestled in the breathtaking Italian Dolomites — a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its towering rock formations and world-class MTB trails.
The Pro Stage here was short yet tricky, with awkward, uneven terrain that punished even the smallest mistakes. Brady Stone, racing through wrist pain from a practice crash, finished just outside the top 50. Matt Stuttard started slower, placing 72nd, but his experience told him there was plenty of time to climb the leaderboard.
Day 2 became the team’s breakthrough moment. Matt unleashed his full potential with a top 10 finish on Stage 3 and continued his strong momentum into the Queen Stage on Tutti Frutti — one of Europe’s most scenic yet brutal ridgelines. His effort paid off with an 11th place finish on the stage and a remarkable 18th overall — Polygon’s first Top 20 of the season.
“Happy with that! From 72nd to 18th today – I had to dig deep on some brutal stages.” – Matt Stuttard
Brady also delivered solid results, climbing from 51st to 39th overall with consistent, clean riding across the demanding terrain.
The Spirit of the Polygon Factory Racing Team
Behind every successful ride was an entire crew working tirelessly. Team Manager Dave Musgrove praised the team’s unity and the relentless effort of every member, including their mechanic, Josh Morris.
“I’m so proud of the whole team’s efforts and results throughout this first block of EWS races. Our mechanic, Josh Morris, has gone above and beyond in his support of the new team. Top 10 Stage finishes from Brady in Slovenia then Matt in Italy, culminating with Matt’s Top 20 overall cements the ability of these guys in the most technical and demanding trails. Dan’s dug so deep to help bring everything together as Team Captain while, despite injury, performing both on track and as PinkBike’s face-of-enduro.
A huge thanks to the team sponsors for all their support; DHaRCO, BikeYoke, FSA and Kenda – we can’t wait to see what we can do together as Dan, Brady and Matt touch down in North America in August!” – Dave Musgrove, PFR Team Manager
Onward to North America: The Next Chapter of Enduro
With three intense rounds behind them, the Polygon Factory Racing team is now gearing up for their next challenge — the North American leg of the Enduro World Series. The upcoming rounds in Whistler, Burke, and Sugarloaf promise fresh adventures, fierce competition, and the perfect stage for Polygon to continue proving the performance of its MTB bikes.
Fueled by passion and precision engineering, the team is recharged and ready to take on the trails once again — pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on a mountain bike.
