Among this year\u2019s contenders, the Polygon Collosus DH downhill MTB<\/strong> once again stood tall \u2014 a bike with proven Rampage pedigree, having earned back-to-back victories in 2015 and 2017. Returning for his second year, Luke Whitlock<\/strong> took on one of the gnarliest builds of the event aboard the Collosus DH. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whitlock\u2019s first run ended in a crash after losing control on a major drop. But true to Rampage spirit, he climbed back up for his second descent. \u201cThe first run didn\u2019t go my way, it was a rough day on the mountain, but I\u2019m thankful to walk away safe,\u201d he shared. \u201cMy hands weren\u2019t feeling great, so I played it safe and rode down for the fans. That\u2019s competition. I\u2019ll be back stronger.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whitlock\u2019s 2024 debut also marked the prototype testing of the Collosus DH<\/strong> , a downhill mountain bike developed through years of rider feedback and global testing. The production model officially launched in March 2025 after extensive refinement. \u201cOur goal was simple,\u201d said Zendy Meidyawan Renan<\/strong> , Polygon\u2019s Chief Engineer. \u201cWe wanted a bike capable of going head-to-head with the world\u2019s best \u2014 and Rampage was the ultimate test ground.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
