The event wasn\u2019t merely a road bike<\/strong><\/a> race\u2014it was a festival of speed, endurance, and emotion, highlighted by the poignant farewell of cycling legend Mark Cavendish<\/strong>, the man whose 35 stage victories have written his name indelibly into Tour de France history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The peloton featured star riders such as Biniam Girmay<\/strong>, the multiple Green Jersey winner in this year\u2019s Tour de France, and Jasper Philipsen<\/strong>, the sprint king who conquered Stage 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Southeast Asia\u2019s cycling scene, the event was a moment of pride. Malaysia\u2019s Terengganu Polygon Cycling Team (TSG)<\/strong><\/a> maintained their title as Asia\u2019s No. 1 team<\/strong> in 2024. \u201cWe just enjoy the race this weekend and hope to give our best,\u201d said Aiman Cahyadi<\/strong>, one of TSG\u2019s top riders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
