After days of heavy rainfall, the skies finally cleared, revealing pristine conditions on some of the UK\u2019s best downhill trails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Saturday\u2019s <strong>Pro Stage<\/strong> was designed for high-speed excitement \u2014 fast, flowing, and perfect for spectators. Polygon\u2019s <strong>Brady Stone<\/strong> came out strong, finishing 25th after a powerful start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u201cThe trails were running dry and fast, which made for a smooth run into 25th. I\u2019m really happy to start the season off with this result,\u201d \u2013 <em>Brady Stone.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Sunday brought five more stages, including the renowned <strong>Queen Stage<\/strong> on the Big Baw trail. <strong>Matt Stuttard<\/strong> showed his technical mastery, earning 14th place on one of the most decisive stages of the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u201cIt\u2019s so good to be back racing! I last raced 11-months ago since I snapped my collar bone. Loved every minute of it \u2013 buzzing to be back,\u201d \u2013 <em>Matt Stuttard.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Team Captain <strong>Dan Wolfe<\/strong> took charge both on and off the track, giving <strong>PinkBike\u2019s 1.5 million followers<\/strong> a behind-the-scenes view through an engaging Instagram takeover filled with commentary and race footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u201cTweed Valley was the most hotly contested event to start with. Spanning 40 km and 3,100 vertical meters of descent, the course was one of the most demanding of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Despite a solid start during the Shakedown ride, <strong>Dan Wolfe<\/strong> was forced to withdraw due to post-surgery pain in his shoulder. Still, he remained an energetic presence trackside, cheering his teammates and continuing his daily PinkBike coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The <strong>Pro Stage in Austria<\/strong> became one for the record books: a 6 km course featuring over 1,000 meters of descent \u2014 rocky, rough, steep, and incredibly physical. Riders described it as 13 minutes of pure survival on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygonbikes.com\/eu\/mtb-eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\"><strong>MTB bikes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The following day in Slovenia brought extreme heat and punishing terrain. <strong>Brady Stone<\/strong> lost valuable seconds to a mechanical issue but recovered brilliantly to secure the team\u2019s first <strong>top 10 stage finish<\/strong>, ending 27th overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u201cWhat a race! Loved the long tracks but they were brutal to race.\u201d \u2013 <em>Brady Stone.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><strong>Matt Stuttard<\/strong> kept the momentum with a strong finish, taking 14th in the final stage and 28th overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u201cPetzen was a brutally tough event \u2013 from the heat to the tracks, there was no let up. After injuring his wrist in practice, <strong>Brady Stone<\/strong> fought through the pain to finish just outside the top 50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Meanwhile, <strong>Matt Stuttard<\/strong> faced a difficult opening, placing 72nd in a stage that didn\u2019t suit his usual strengths. But his experience as a seasoned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygonbikes.com\/eu\/mtb-eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\"><strong>MTB<\/strong><\/a> racer paid off \u2014 he knew the real battle was still ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Day two marked an incredible comeback. Stuttard powered through brutal trails to earn a <strong>top 10 in Stage 3<\/strong>, then attacked the demanding <strong>Queen Stage<\/strong> along the Tutti Frutti ridgeline \u2014 one of Europe\u2019s most iconic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygonbikes.com\/eu\/mtb-eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\"><strong>mountain bike<\/strong><\/a> descents. His determination delivered an <strong>11th-place finish<\/strong> on the stage and <strong>18th overall<\/strong>, securing Polygon\u2019s first top-20 result of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u201cHappy with that! From 72nd to 18th today \u2013 I had to dig deep on some brutal stages.\u201d \u2013 <em>Matt Stuttard.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Brady also climbed up the ranks with consistent performances, moving from 51st to <strong>39th overall<\/strong> by the end of the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u201cI\u2019m so proud of the whole team\u2019s efforts and results throughout this first block of EWS races. Our mechanic, Josh Morris, has gone above and beyond in his support of the new team. Top 10 Stage finishes from Brady in Slovenia then Matt in Italy, culminating with Matt\u2019s Top 20 overall cements the ability of these guys in the most technical and demanding trails.
