The Polygon Factory Racing team officially entered the professional enduro racing scene at this year\u2019s Enduro World Series (EWS)<\/strong>, marking a milestone for both the riders and the brand. The EWS represents the highest level of mountain biking competition \u2014 a thrilling blend of endurance, precision, and adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EWS #1 Tweed Valley: A wild start at the UK\u2019s best downhill trails<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite a week of rain, the skies cleared just in time for an incredible start to the season at Tweed Valley<\/strong>, Scotland (June 4\u20135, 2022). The course was in perfect shape, setting the stage for high-speed action on some of the most iconic mountain bike<\/strong><\/a> trails in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro Stage<\/strong> kicked off Saturday afternoon \u2014 a high-speed section designed to deliver both intensity for racers and excitement for fans. It also offered valuable bonus points that could make or break early standings. Brady Stone<\/strong> came out strong, going full gas to secure 25th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe trails were running dry and fast, which made for a smooth run into 25th. I\u2019m really happy to start the season off with this result,\u201d \u2013 Brady Stone.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Sunday brought five challenging stages, including the legendary Big Baw<\/strong> trail for the Queen Stage. Matt Stuttard<\/strong> showcased his technical mastery, earning 14th on one of the toughest runs of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Captain Dan Wolfe<\/strong> shared the team\u2019s debut journey with over 1.5 million PinkBike followers through a series of Instagram Stories, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Polygon Factory Racing\u2019s first official race weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EWS #2 Petzen-Jamnica: Rocky, rough, steep, and super-physical<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Round two of the Enduro World Series<\/strong> tested the riders\u2019 endurance like never before. The unique format saw competitors race across two countries in a single weekend \u2014 starting in Petzen, Austria<\/strong> on June 18 and finishing in Jamnica, Slovenia<\/strong> on June 19. The demanding five-stage course spanned 40 km with over 3,100 vertical metres of descent \u2014 making it one of the most punishing events of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a successful shakedown, Dan Wolfe<\/strong> faced setbacks due to shoulder issues from a previous surgery, forcing him to sit this one out. Still, he remained trackside, cheering on teammates and offering live coverage on PinkBike\u2019s social channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro Stage<\/strong> in Austria was legendary \u2014 6 km long with over 1,000 metres of descent. It was an all-out test of stamina and control. Riders battled rocky, steep, and relentless terrain for over 13 minutes of pure focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day two in Slovenia brought intense heat and brutal conditions. Brady Stone<\/strong> faced a mechanical issue in Stage 3 but managed to bounce back, securing the team\u2019s first top-10 stage finish and ending the weekend 27th overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matt Stuttard<\/strong> finished just three seconds behind Brady, taking 14th in the final stage and 28th overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EWS #3 Val di Fassa: Towering rock spires, ridge lines, and a turnaround<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The third round of the Enduro World Series<\/strong> took place in Val di Fassa Trentino<\/strong>, deep in the Italian Dolomites \u2014 a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its breathtaking peaks and ridge lines that challenge even the most seasoned MTB<\/strong><\/a> riders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The short, pedal-heavy Pro Stage<\/strong> presented technical obstacles where even minor mistakes could cost precious seconds. Brady Stone<\/strong>, riding through wrist pain after a practice crash, still managed to finish just outside the top 50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Matt Stuttard<\/strong> had a slower start, placing 72nd in the Pro Stage. But as a veteran mountain bike<\/strong><\/a> racer<\/strong>, he knew the race was far from over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day two saw an impressive comeback. Matt pushed hard on some of the most demanding MTB<\/strong><\/a> trails<\/strong> in Europe, grabbing a top 10 in Stage 3 and finishing 11th in the Queen Stage \u2014 the iconic Tutti Frutti<\/strong> track \u2014 one of the Dolomites\u2019 longest and most scenic descents. He closed the weekend 18th overall, securing Polygon\u2019s first top-20 result of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brady Stone<\/strong> delivered a solid performance on day two with a top-30 finish in Stage 2, climbing from 51st to 39th overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
